Professional Training

Lifeguard Training Course

The National Pool Lifeguard Qualification ‘NPLQ’ is a National and International recognised qualification required for you to work as a Pool Lifeguard in any swimming pool.

AED Training Courses

Automated External Defibrillation (AED) Defibrillator training, including basic life support, gives you the confidence to act quickly & effectively if someone has a cardiac arrest.

Manual Handling Training

This Manual Handling Training Course helps employers ensure that they and their employees are sufficiently trained in the principles and practices of safe manual handling.

Brenda Daly

Hi I’m Brenda and welcome to Connacht Lifeguard Academy. With a Degree in Health, Fitness and Leisure and with 20 years experience in the Leisure Industry, you can be assured that whichever training you decide to undertake you’ll be in good hands!

I have managed a number of leisure centers in the West which gives me a vast amount of knowledge and experience to help you become a strong employee. I have being running pool lifeguard course and in house Lifeguard training in Galway, Mayo and Offaly over the last number of years.

I also have years of experience in training and assessing manual handling and Automated External Defibrillation training (AED).
